They call it Final Fantasy Football 7, and it is a mix of two of my favorite things in this world.

On a sun deprived day in the slums of Midgar, our heroes took the field for a game of 7 on 7 to settle things once and for all. With the air unbreathable and the grass on the field as dead as the spirits of those who never got to see the sky, it would be the greatest game of football ever played.

Also Moogle referees.

GAME ON!

Entry 2: Infamous for his cold and calculated approach, Coach Rufus was the perfect man to command and conquer the football field. Those who had the unfortunate luck of playing against him saw the calm intensity of a man with competitive fire in his belly and ice water in his veins.

I'm glad you are enjoying it! I felt this was my weakest piece, but it found a niche audience at Anime Expo this past weekend and sold pretty well! Thanks again!

LUL nice tribute as always to the lifeless gem called FF7. I love how you capture the realistic content from the PS1 game directly and turn it into art, comedic art too. your description of what Barret says couldn't ever be more true, he's a hot-headed individual.

I didn't think FF7 was lifeless. You're thinking of FF8 ;) I am revolving this fanart series around the original art for the game. Rufus always had a big orange polygon of hair on my tv when I played the game so long ago, so as a fellow ginger, I intended to keep him that way. Advent Children be damned!
