Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

10 of 70 shots completed.  1:05 of 4:30/5:00.

Progress has stuttered this week with work moving, fatigue, and the woman's quarter life crisis.  Carl aka HungerArtist is finishing up an awesome layout for shot 11 and I have uploaded a still of shot 12 in progress, with flash pencil test klare and completed layout.  I use alot of texture, but dangit, when shits dark, i leave it dark.  Im working with silhouettes here, and when shes closer to the sputtering lamp(the only real light source in the film) there'll be more detail in the layouts.

I edited and cut together the first minute and it's looking fairly satisfying thus far.  Of course, all the bread and butter is in the second and third acts, and I am just now at the end of act I.  I just feel the need to do it in order.  If I bounce around from shot to shot I feel disconnected and I don't feel like I have a clear view of my progress.  Plus I need to animate shots next to each-other so I can know early on if I need to add more time or change an action so it flows better into the next shot.

Moving along though.  Annecy 2009 is in June.  I can make that.
